Understanding Your Responsibility to Preventing Racial Discrimination & Harassment at UofT
Join us for a special session co-hosted by OISE and U of T’s Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office (ARCDO) on understanding your responsibility to preventing racial discrimination and harassment in the working and learning environments at the Institute. This event is open to all members of faculty and staff at OISE and runs from 10:00am-12:00pm.

This session will:
1. Provide an overview of the race-related Ontario Human Rights Code grounds and definitions of relevant key terms
2. Explore how racial discrimination and harassment manifest in the work environments
3. Share strategies and tools to effectively identify and respond to race-related conflicts in the workplace.
4. Explain the role of the Antiracism and Cultural Diversity Office in the complaints resolution process at the University of Toronto.
