Do most of the work-study jobs require some sort of experience? Are there any forensic positions available for first years?

The types of work study jobs change year over year

Not all work-study jobs require experience related to the role! You get extensive training before you start your job.

They do typically require some previous experience.

And come from diverse fields ... there were some with a forensic focus last year, but with activities being remote this year, it makes it challenging for us this year.

As with all jobs, it does give you an edge in the application pool if you have experience.

As Esme said year reps are a good way to get experience for executive positions in the society, if you're interested!

@Kennedy that depends on your profs. Most profs are fine with you using older editions of textbooks but it's good to check with them.

What courses should you take if you dont get into a post 2nd year

you can’t get into med school with a forensic psychology degree right?

@Veronica, credit/no credit is the option to have a (non-program requirement) course not count towards your GPA.

So if you're taking something for fun but don't want the grade to affect your GPA, you can have it appear as just a credit (meaning you pass) on your transcript.

Is that 2 credit no credits every year or 2 for all 4+ years of our undergrad?
