Resiliency through Adversities: Still thriving in the face of anti-Black Racism
The purpose of this event is to showcase Black excellence - the beauty and complexities of being Black in a world where anti-Black racism is so prevalent.
Individuals at this event will discuss the real life challenges and implications that one faces in the workplace and academia due to one’s skin color, ethnicity, country of origin, cultural or religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, and sometimes accents - offering tools and strategies to navigate those challenges.

There will be a keynote, followed by a student panel.

*A live raffle will take place with prizes from Black owned businesses.*

This session is open to all from U of T and to external community members.

If you require an accommodation to join this virtual session, please contact UTM's Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Office at edo.utm@utoronto.ca.*
